Our main psychometric tool – Selector Insight – goes beyond individuals’ perception of their own characteristics to measure their actual behaviour and then compare it with the general population. So, for example, rather than just asking an individual how they rate themselves on a six-point introversion/extroversion scale, Selector Insight also asks different questions that test how they behave in various settings. The final score then reflects how an individual really behaves, not simply their own perception of their own characteristics.

Only by testing actual behaviours and then comparing them with the whole population can we get a true picture of their actual characteristics. Individuals who complete Selector Insight are measured against a population of 18,000 people, to reveal how they compare with a wide range of Australasian people in business.

We then analyse it in relation to your specific business, enabling you to make informed people decisions.

Some people see psychometric testing as a “pass or fail” test. But Selector Insight results do not indicate a win or a loss, a pass or a fail. Rather they give a clear insight into the individual’s working style, motivations, strengths and weaknesses, indicating what jobs and working environments a person will fit well into and perform well at, and what areas they might need support in.
